During Bradford's 19th-century rise as a global center for textile manufacturing, Hollings Mill played a vital role in the city’s industrial prominence. The mill was part of the extensive network of factories and workshops that earned Bradford the nickname "Wool City." The mill has been in continuous use since its establishment and is currently owned by Mark Hill, the son of Edward Hill. Remarkably, Hollings Mill still operates some of its original machinery to produce hand-knitting and craft yarns. Hollings Mill is also notable for its architectural and historical presence.
