Powys Former Fuel Station - Wales
History
“This disused fuel station has been derelict since before 2008, and judging by the sub-pound fuel prices, it likely ceased operating around 2006 or 2007, although details of its closure are scarce. The forecourt is littered with old cars and coaches. We were expecting our arrival to be greeted by an angry local living on the grounds as that's what the rumors suggested, however the place seemed deserted. Most of the vehicles were locked along with sections of the buildings, what was accessible had obviously been open to the elements for some years now. The site hosts a variety of vehicles, including coaches from the late 1970s, such as an old Bedford coach and a 1982 Seddon Pennine VII, which was once used for national routes across the UK. Other areas include a damp, decaying workshop and some sealed-off buildings that the current owner now uses for storage”.
